What you need to bring

  • ● Valid driver's license class B for cars and SUVs, A1/A2 for motorbikes and ATVs.
  • ● ID or passport as a guarantee during the rental.
  • ● Minimum age 21 years (25 for large 4×4s).
  • ● Fuel: the vehicle is delivered with a full tank and returned full.

Quick questions about the rental

›Is insurance included?
Vehicles include basic insurance (SOAP + minimum coverage). Additional coverage can be arranged at booking.
›Is there a mileage limit?
No. The island is 24 km across, so mileage is unlimited within Rapa Nui.
›Can I pick up the car at the airport?
Yes. We coordinate direct delivery at Mataveri airport at your arrival time, or at your accommodation if you prefer.
›What if I have a breakdown or flat tire?
Message us on WhatsApp and we come to wherever you are. Distances on the island are short — you'll never be more than 30 minutes from us.
›Can I pay by card?
We accept bank transfer, cash in Chilean pesos, and card (with surcharge). Payment method is agreed at booking.
